Check Out These Summer Events In The Palm Beaches

TURTLE WALKS

During select days in July, Loggerhead Marinelife Center is educating the public on the nesting and egg-laying process of sea turtles with nightly Turtle Walks. Go behind-the scenes to view current patients in the outdoor Sea Turtle Hospital before heading to Juno Beach for sea turtle sightings to have a chance to observe this unforgettable experience. SUMMER BEER FEST

Beat the heat while spending the day at the Palm Beach Summer Beer Fest on July 20. Held at The South Florida Fairgrounds, the festival will offer VIP and general admission ticketing with inclusions such as a custom beer sampling mug, food vouchers, early entrance and more. SPACE ODYSSEY

Don’t miss the opportunity to view the Palm Beach Photographic Centre’s latest exhibition, “Space Odyssey 2019 Astronaut Scott Kelly’s Epic Visual Voyages” on display through Aug. 3. The exhibit features shots from Kelly’s one-year voyage in space using microgravity photography to capture stunning scenes such as sunsets, moonrises, the aurora borealis and the hazy tapestry of the Milky Way. RAINFOREST ADVENTURE

Discover all there is to know about the rainforest with the South Florida Science Center & Aquarium’s summer exhibition, “Rainforest Adventure,” running through Sept. 4. Visitors will learn about the four layers of the habitat and understand humanity’s impact on the diverse-yet-fragile forest, and how they can make a difference. SHAKESPEARE BY THE SEA

For two weekends this summer (July 11 to 14 and July 18 to 21), locals can bring picnic blankets and food to the Seabreeze Amphitheater to enjoy Shakespeare by the Sea performances. This year, attendees get the chance to relive the tale of star-crossed lovers with The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival’s timeless take on “Romeo and Juliet.” (free; pbshakespeare.org)

‘WINDOW ON THE WORLD’

For the third summer in a row, the Lighthouse ArtCenter will present its art exhibiton, “Window on the World,” showcasing the biggest names in the children’s publishing industry.
