Earth Works

Learn about our current ecological crisis at the Norton Museum of Art with its new exhibit, “Earth Works: Mapping the Anthropocene.” Opening Sept. 5, the exhibit will explore how humans are directly and indirectly impacting the planet. After flying seven times with NASA for a survey mission of Greenland to study how melting glaciers affect sea level rise, transdisciplinary artist Justin Guariglia illustrates through photography and metaphor the complexity of human impact on the planet.
