Hilton West Palm Beach And CityPlace Announce New Fitness And Wellness Festival
It’s no secret that Palm Beachers like to stay fit—even Trulia recently noticed by naming West Palm Beach the second best city in the nation for living a healthy lifestyle.
Hilton West Palm Beach and CityPlace have partnered together to celebrate health and wellness with a new festival called District Fit. The two-day event will take place March 30 to 31 in downtown West Palm Beach at both Hilton West Palm Beach and CityPlace.
The fitness festival will feature indoor and outdoor fitness classes, mindful wellness practices, healthy food and beverage vendors, live entertainment, cooking demonstration and specialty pop-up shops.
Prominent local and regional fitness instructors will create classes designed for all ages and fitness levels. These include HIIT Bootcamp by Miami-based personal trainer Anthony Mendez; a dance class by Total Movement owner Erika Strimer; kids bootcamp by Cross Fit’s El Cid; water biking by Water Cycle Studio; barre without a bar by Studios Etc. owner Jacquelyn Quesada; and more.
District Fit will also feature a fashion show highlighting local influencers who will showcase the best in athleisure wear. The outfits will be curated by Jacquelyn Quesada.
Food and drink options will include creations by Moe’s Kombucha, coconut water from ZICO and more. There will also be a vegan-inspired dinner curated by chef Miguel Santiago, and held in collaboration with Adam Lipson of Vegan Approved, on the lawns of Hilton West Palm Beach at 6:30 p.m. on March 29.
Other vendors to expect at the festival include Pique Studios, MANTA, Holly’s Natural Products, Fitness Hub, TempleCare Beauty and more.
