Cameras For Kids Foundation
Cameras For Kids Foundation is an International 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing underprivileged children with a point and shoot digital camera and weekly instruction on the art of photography. The program helps children develop personal artistic expression, while promoting self-esteem, self-confidence and offers a skill set. At the end of the course, children’s works are proudly signed by each child and often showcased in a gallery photography exhibit.
CFKF, founded in 2009, has been delivered to 22 facilities that assist foster children or at-risk children in nine states in the United States, Canada and Haiti, serving 466 children to date
