Florida Oceanographic Society’s mission is to inspire environmental stewardship of Florida’s coastal ecosystems through education, research and advocacy. The organization works closely with the community to restore and preserve local ecosystems while advocating to protect the environment. Programming at the Coastal Center on Hutchinson Island seeks to educate and inspire visitors about environmental stewardship.
