3 Wawa Convenience Stores Set To Open In Palm Beach County March 23

The first three South Florida Wawa locations are set to open this month—all on the same day.

Each of the new Wawa stores will open in Palm Beach County on March 23 in a series of grand opening celebrations taking place throughout the day. Doors open at 8 a.m.

With more than 640 convenience stores across the nation (360 of which are also gas stations), the Pennsylvania-based chain is beloved for its coffee, made-to-order hoagies and other fresh eats and drinks. It is known to have a loyal following.

Two of the Wawa stores will be located in Palm Springs at 3950 S. Congress Ave. and 1771 S. Congress Ave., while the third will open in Riviera Beach at 7289 Garden Road.

In addition to each of the ribbon-cutting ceremonies, grand opening festivities will include hoagie building contests, a parade of Wawa history, remarks by officials, and more. Plus, all of the stores will be giving away free Wawa coffee for 10 days.

Look out for a chance to snag free coffee as well, as Wawa has reintroduced Free Coffee Fridays—a promotion that lets Rewards members redeem coupons for a free cup of coffee—throughout the month of March. (For those counting, there are two more Fridays in March following the Palm Beach County store openings.)

Wawa celebrated the opening of its 100th Florida store in the fall and previously announced it plans to open 120 new locations across Southeast Florida over time. Additional local stores coming soon include West Palm Beach later this spring, plus Lake Worth, Davie and Pompano Beach during the summer.
