5 Restaurants to Try During Flavor Palm Beach Restaurant Month
September is upon us, and that means it’s time to gear up for fall and chow down on dining deals during the 11th annual Flavor Palm Beach.
Flavor Palm Beach is the Palm Beaches’ restaurant month. During the month of September, hungry foodies can visit over 50 different restaurants across Palm Beach County to enjoy discounted prices on pre-set, three-course menus. Lunch menus are priced at $20 and dinner menus range from $30 to $45.
For each of the three courses (usually an appetizer, an entrée and a dessert), diners will be able to choose between three or more options.
Newcomers this year to the list of Flavor Palm Beach restaurants include Cucina, Cafe Centro, Brick & Barrel, Tanzy, Maggiano’s Little Italy, The Butcher Shop and Cucina Cabana.
Here are our top five restaurant picks to try during Flavor Palm Beach:
III Forks Prime Steakhouse
At III Forks, enjoy an upscale steakhouse dinner in a luxe interior for $45 per person, with entrée selections to include a 6-ounce prime cut filet, a double-cut pork chop and either salmon or blackened snapper. Executive chef Tommy Nevill’s culinary mastery shines through in each new plate set before you. From the first course—take your pick of braised pork belly, ahi tuna poke or chilled shrimp with remoulade—to the salad course and all the way through to the main event, III Forks dresses to impress. Between Sundays and Wednesdays, guests also have the opportunity to pair their dinners with half off any bottle of wine under $100.

The Regional Kitchen & Public House
An industrial yet warm and homey interior at The Regional Kitchen & Public House makes for the perfect setting to indulge in chef Lindsay Autry’s spin on Southern cooking. This year, the restaurant will offer a $20 Flavor Palm Beach lunch menu, Mondays through Saturdays, and a $40 dinner daily. At lunch, the pimento cheese appetizer is a real crowd pleaser, while the dinner menu’s crispy rainbow trout is something to write home about. Polish any meal off with an angel food cake topped with mixed berries and chantilly cream.

Sinclair’s Ocean Grill
A sophisticated eatery overlooking the Atlantic Ocean—the only oceanfront restaurant in Jupiter, by the way—is enough to draw a crowd, but the seafood and South Floridian-styled cuisine at Sinclair’s Ocean Grill are also poised to catch your attention. Located at Jupiter Beach Resort, the restaurant will offer a $20 lunch and a $45 dinner for Flavor Palm Beach. As the main event, patrons can sample seafood specialties like grilled mahimahi, tuna tataki, salmon and even a surf-and-turf option for dinner.

This September, stop by Palm Beach island’s recently revamped seafood staple PB Catch to enjoy a $40 prix-fixe dinner menu. One option for the appetizer course is PB Catch’s ever-popular “seacuterie” platter (salmon pastrami, smoked trout, scallops and octopus terrine), which can be followed with grilled swordfish, cioppino or char-grilled hanger steak with sea salt fries. Dessert options include a blueberry sundae, sorbet or a simple cappuccino.

Enjoy a $35 dinner at laid-back yet elegant Grato, a favorite in West Palm Beach’s emerging Dixie Dining Corridor. The menu is set to include meatballs, steak tartare crostini or Italian salad to whet your appetite, with second course options like Grato’s Sunday Gravy (paccheri, veal, pork, beef and basil), chicken parmesan or your choice of artisanal pizzas fired in sight. With a flight of gelatos or sorbets to round everything out, you’d be hard-pressed to go home hungry.
