8 Things To Do On The Fourth Of July In The Palm Beaches
It's always summer in South Florida, so there's no shortage of fun events and activities to be had—and fireworks to be seen—on Independence Day, summer's hallmark holiday.
Need plans for the all-American holiday? We gathered together eight things to do on the Fourth of July throughout the Palm Beaches.
Flags and Fireworks at 4th on Flagler
Celebrate the Fourth of July along the West Palm Beach waterfront at 4th on Flagler from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 4. With nearly 100,000 guests expected to attend, this year's event will feature the annual Military Honor Ceremony, live music on three stages, games, an 18-minute fireworks show over the Intracoastal Waterway and more. The event is free, open to the public and will celebrate its 30th anniversary this year.

Private Party and Barbecue With Lighthouse Views
What's more American than a hot dog bar? Create your own hot dog and topping combinations at 1000 NORTH’s private Fourth of July party to compete in the Best Dog of the Day competition. The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate, and 1000 NORTH—a modern American restaurant just across the Loxahatchee River from the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse—will feature the winning dog on its menu for National Hot Dog Day on July 19.
Partygoers can pile their plates with much more than hot dogs, including smoked chicken, brisket, ribs, grilled corn and twice-baked potatoes. Advance reservations and payment are required. All-inclusive adult reservations are $95 and kids are $45 (children under the age of 4 are free).
