Eau Palm Beach Resort Earns Five-Star Award From Forbes Travel Guide
We already knew Eau Palm Beach was five-star quality, but now it's confirmed.
The luxury resort has received a Five-Star rating from Forbes Travel Guide. The classification is considered one of the industry's highest seals of approval.
To come up with the rating, Forbes Travel Guide sends incognito inspectors to assess luxury hotels, restaurants and spas. Five-Star properties are those they consider to be "outstanding, often iconic properties with virtually flawless service and amazing facilities."
Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa is one of only six hotels in the U.S. to be added to this year's Five-Star list. The on-property Eau Spa also earned Forbes' Five-Star Award for the second year in a row.
There are only six Five-Star hotels in Florida. Locally, Eau and the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach are on the list; the rest are in Miami.
When Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa became an independently run hotel in 2013, the hotel held brand and culture training for its management to instill the core values and philosophy of the new brand.
Eva Hill, president of Britannia Pacific Properties, Inc., the holding company which owns the resort, explained how she thinks this philosophy is what earned the hotel the award.
“When we set out to create this independent brand, our goal was to meld the absolute best in service with the essence of the Palm Beach lifestyle, and this accolade is a testament to how the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa brand has resonated with guests both globally and locally in the Palm Beach community," she said.
Eau Palm Beach was also recently recognized as the best resort in Florida, according to Condé Nast Traveler readers, who voted the Manalapan property to the top of the list.
