Enjoy A Palm Beach Opera Pop-Up Over Dinner At City Cellar This December
Wine, dine and enjoy an intimate opera performance at City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill.
On Dec. 4 and Dec. 16, the Palm Beach Opera will head to the popular dining spot in West Palm Beach to entertain diners with mini aria performances. There’s no extra charge for the event, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. both nights, but reservations are recommended.
The executive team from the Palm Beach Opera has been dining at the restaurant for years and approached City Cellar general manager Michael "Iggy” Ignatowicz with the idea. Members of the Palm Beach Opera’s Benenson Young Artists program—a group for emerging professional opera singers—will perform a couple of songs while guests feast on their dinners by executive chef Kevin Darr.
About one week after the first performance at City Cellar, the Palm Beach Opera will take to the stage at the Meyer Amphitheater for the free "Opera at the Waterfront" event, where thousands can enjoy an afternoon of song al fresco.
