Free Bike Valet At SunFest Is An Easy, Eco-Friendly Way To Enjoy The Festival
Biking to SunFest this week?
Free bike valet service in downtown West Palm Beach will save festivalgoers the trouble of finding a place to chain their bikes and remembering where they parked.
The West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority has offered this free service to SunFest attendees for more than a decade.
SunFest, taking place April 27 to May 1, will bring more than 50 musical acts—including Bastille, Train, Walk the Moon and Jason Derulo—to West Palm.
During the event, cyclists can drop off their bikes at Waterfront Commons near the Centennial Square fountain throughout the festival, knowing their bikes will be kept in a gated compound near the Clematis Street entrance to SunFest.
Guests will be issued a claim ticket, which must be presented to bike valet staff to reclaim a bicycle. Tips given to the valet staff will be donated to Homeward Bound, which helps reunite the homeless with their families.
Bike valet will be offered from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday. Bikes that are left after closing time can be picked up the next day.
Don't have a bike of your own? Attendees can also use SkyBike, downtown West Palm's public bike sharing system with 14 stations to rent and return the bikes throughout the area.
