Jardin Is Launching Food And Cocktail Pairing Classes, Where You Can Learn To Make Your Own Drinks
Now you can learn how to make Jardin's signature craft cocktails at home.
This February, Jardin, the West Palm Beach restaurant from husband-and-wife chef team Jordan Lerman and Stephanie Cohen, will be launching hands-on cocktail classes. Guests will learn to blend, muddle and garnish a variety of cocktail favorites, and better yet, the mixology lessons will also feature food pairings.
The classes cost $70 per person and will take place Sunday, Feb. 5 and Feb. 12 starting at 12:30 p.m.
Jardin's cocktail program, led by Bar Chief Deanna Thibeau, is known for its seasonal rotation of drinks using ingredients like fresh-squeezed juices, house-made bitters and jams. During each two-hour session, Thibeau will show participants how to make classic cocktails and select seasonal drinks—eight in total—as well as teach them about the history of cocktails, setting up a bar, shaking, and other fun facts about spirits.
Executive chef Jordan Lerman will then share tips on how to pair these cocktails with food, as he presents special bites alongside each drink to complement the ingredients and flavor profiles.
The intimate classes will host up to 10 guests to ensure everyone has one-on-one time with Jardin's mixologist. Call 561.440.5273 to reserve a spot, and let the chefs know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.
