What could be better than cruising around Palm Beach waterways on a private yacht?

How about cruising around on a private yacht decked out in Lilly Pulitzer print patterns.

Well, it's convenient, then, that the Palm Beach-inspired brand has partnered with Barton & Gray Mariners Club to create such a bright and colorful vessel.

Members of the private yacht club, which has a fleet of boats all along the Eastern seaboard, will be able to charter the Lilly Pulitzer-adorned Hinckley Yacht beginning Dec. 28.

The boat features printed pillows and boat cushions in two of Lilly Pulitzer's Spring 2016 prints: "Cluck" and "Fronds Place." It will be available in Palm Beach through May 15, 2016.

"As you can imagine, these are pretty traditionally built New England-looking boats, often with the standard blue, and [this] is definitely different, definitely brighter, but it's great," said Wil Lockman, Barton & Gray's director of business development. "Our members are going nuts for it."

The yacht club has collaborated with other designers before, but Lilly Pulitzer is Barton & Gray's largest partner thus far, according to Lockman.

"Obviously, they're pretty Palm Beach-focused, as are we," Lockman said, adding Barton & Gray has had a fleet in Palm Beach since the company's founding in 2006.

Barton & Gray will continue its partnership with the Palm Beach fashion house by participating in this year's Lilly Pulitzer Beach Bash taking place Dec. 26. For the event's auction, benefiting the American Red Cross, the yacht club is donating a chartered outing for six aboard the boat—valued at roughly $5,000—to the highest bidder.

"It's a very big deal for us to let non-members charter the yachts," Lockman said.

And this won't be the only chance for the general public to ride the vessel. In the first half of 2016, Lilly Pulitzer customers who spend $1,800 or more during a single transaction at one of three stores—Palm Beach Gardens, Sarasota's St. Armands Circle store and Waterside Shops in Naples—can receive a 1.5-hour cruise on the custom yacht as well.

According to Lockman, the Lilly Pulitzer yacht may also spend some time on Florida's west coast for use by members in cities including Naples and Boca Grande after it makes its debut.
