If the Negroni is your drink of choice, this week is for you.

June 1 to 7 marks Negroni Week, aka seven days dedicated to celebrating the cocktail and raising money for charity.

The Cooper in Palm Beach Gardens is taking part in the event, serving up two versions of the boozy concoction: “the classic” ($13), which contains Citadelle gin, Carpano Antico sweet vermouth and Campari, and “the traditional” ($10), which contains similar ingredients, with a guest’s choice of gin.

“As far as perfect cocktails go, the Negroni is like a great tightrope walker. It never loses its balance,” head bartender and mixologist David Bouchard says in a release.

The restaurant will be donating a portion of proceeds to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, a nonprofit dedicated to conserving Florida’s coastal ecosystems and sea turtles.

More than 3,000 bars are participating in this year’s Negroni Week, which was started by Imbibe magazine in 2013. Click here to see a list of other participating restaurants in the area.
