With a growing trend for craft beer, more breweries are set to open all over Palm Beach County this year.

This past weekend concluded the Annual Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival that began nine years ago by Fran Andrewlevich of Tequesta Brewing Company – one of South Florida’s popular microbreweries.

With the growing popularity of the festival over recent years, Andrewlevich and business partner, Matt Webster, have decided to expand beyond Tequesta Brewing Co.

The pair is currently completing the finishing touches to their new brew space in Palm Beach Gardens called Twisted Trunk Brewing. It’s set to open early this year.

Other breweries coming to Palm Beach County include Barrel of Monks, which will be specializing in Belgian beers and Wild Oak Artisan Ales, both opening in Boca Raton this year. Boynton Beach similarly has a new brewery in the works, Coppertop Brewing, which is set to open in February.

Jupiter could also be receiving a new brewery that would open by mid-2015. The Jupiter Town Council is considering giving the final approval next month for the brewery-bar, Civil Society Brewing Co.
