South Florida’s First ‘Agrihood’ Launches In Palm Beach County
Are you obsessed with the farm-to-table lifestyle? If so, then it might be time to move to an ‘agrihood.’
Arden is an agriculturally based neighborhood and is the first of its kind in the area. Located around Arden Lake, the single-family home community offers farm-to-table living with a central garden, 20 miles of recreational trails and 1,200 acres of lakes, parks and open spaces.
The community has hired two full-time farm managers to ensure the fruits, vegetables and herbs are grown properly throughout the year. Residents can also work the farm, or simply enjoy harvesting and eating the food produced by the vast garden.
Arden offers homeowners a luxurious clubhouse, a resort-style pool, a fitness center, tennis courts, playgrounds and a full-time, on-site lifestyle director who promotes healthy living for each resident.
Homes in the agrihood start in the $400s, offer up to 3,555 square feet of living space and boast three to five bedrooms, three to four bathrooms and three-car garages.
The home designs also feature stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, wood-finished cabinetry, oversized ceramic tile flooring and home automation platforms voice controlled by Amazon’s Alexa.
