Swank Farm In Loxahatchee Serves Up Sunday Dinners, A Master Chef Series And Brunches
Attention all food lovers currently obsessed with the farm-to-table trend: Swank Farm has announced its schedule of events for the harvest season, including Swank Table dinners, a chef series and brunch. Let’s dig in.
The events are held at Swank Specialty Produce, an organic 20-acre farm in Loxahatchee that produces more than 350 varieties of vegetables, edible flowers and micro-greens for local restaurants.
Each Swank Table event is held like a traditional Sunday dinner, served family style. Food is prepared by the area’s top chefs with mixologists and brewers. The meals feature products from partner farms, beer, wine and freshly picked Swank vegetables.
Before the Swank Table meals, guests are invited to participate in a farm tour led by owners Darrin and Jodi Swank. Guests are also free to wander around the fields of the farm to see it in action before taking their seats at the custom-designed pole barn for dinner. Live music is also provided by South Florida-based bands.
This year, Swank Farms introduced the Swank Master Chef series in addition to its Swank Table lineup. The Swank Master Chef series treats guests to five-course plated wine dinners prepared by top chefs, presenting “the best dish they have ever created.”
Also new to the farm this season is brunch, which includes a different theme for each meal with kid-friendly activities and unlimited mimosas, bloody marys and craft beers.
